Deliveries outside of the local range include a Threshold delivery which includes delivery through the first available door of your home and additional services, such as set-up and mattress removal, can be requested for an additional fee in most areas. I love going to Costco for the free samples, delicious pizza, and great prices on just about everything. Walking around the warehouse you might come across an awesome new TV, a fancy five-speed blender, or an over-sized bag of Doritos. There is always at least one random thing I see and automatically think “I love this… but how would I even get this home?” My little Nissan Versa can just barely handle the Dorito bag and blender, so when I wanted to buy a new mattress that I saw, I had to pass up the great deal at first because I had no way to take it home. Later that night I was searching for the mattress online and not only was it more expensive but I would still have to wait about a week for it to ship to my apartment. So I decided to skip buying it online.

The next time I was at Costco I had my eye on the mattress because it was such a great deal but Costco does not usually offer delivery (or so I thought) . I started looking through my phone to find a friend with a truck. I remembered that my friend Chris has a truck but he was out of town so that option was out the window. Next I looked into renting a u-Haul, which was a scary option for me. Driving one of their huge trucks by myself would be an absolute nightmare, plus no one was available to help me carry the mattress upstairs.

Luckily when I went back to the same Costco a few weeks later I came across GoShare. I found out that they have partnered with Costco for same day delivery. The process was extremely simple, all I had to do was download the app on my phone and input the pickup and drop off address. It gave me the options to choose what kind of truck or van I needed (I chose the small pickup truck). Then I could select one or two delivery professionals to help carry it into my apartment. The app asks for a picture and description of the item. Before I submitted my order I was able to get a price estimate which was between $39.99 and $49.99 which is about the same cost as a Uhaul and the guys helped me load and unoad. Within minutes, I had a GoShare driver accept my request and he met me at the store within 30 minutes.

The price came in just under $40 and the driver was kind enough to help set-up the mattress it my room for me. The experience was fast and easy. I wish I knew about it before I went through the trouble of searching for other options. The best part about it was that GoShare was available for me exactly when I needed it. I will definitely be using it next time I feel like impulse shopping at Costco and see something that won’t fit in my Versa (like the 8’ Wavestorm surfboard)!

How Does The Mattress Firm Return Policy Work?

When you are looking for the best mattress for you, one of the things that you should do is to check the different mattresses across a wide variety of retailers. The truth is that while in one retailer you may find one brand, on a different retailer you may find other brands that best suit your needs. Besides, the prices can also vary as well as the sizes available. Last but not least, you need to make sure that you check out each one of the mattress retailers return policy.

One of the things that you need to understand is that while you may try out a mattress in a store, only when you sleep on it you can be sure if the mattress is a good fit or not. So, you should definitely check out the Mattress Firm return policy.

Mattress Firm Return Policy

As a big company. Mattress Firm has a wide variety of mattresses to choose from. This includes different brands, sizes, and prices. So, we decided to take a closer look at the Mattress Firm return policy and tell you exactly what you can expect from the company in case you buy a mattress from them and you want to return it.

According to the Mattress Firm return policy, you will have a 120-night sleep trial. This means that once you decide to buy a new mattress and it is delivered to your home, you have 120 nights to sleep on it and decide if you like it or if you want to return it. They allow you 3 months of testing because it is never easy for your body to adapt to a new mattress. So, during this trial period, you can know if the mattress was actually a good or a bad choice for you. You also have to sleep on it for at least 30 nights to ensure that your body had the time to adapt.

In case you’re not happy with the mattress between 30 and 120 days after delivery, you are entitled to one return or/and one exchange per purchase.

In case you still want to buy a mattress and prefer to exchange it, you will need to pay a fee of $79.99. This fee can be $99.99 in some special markets. However, Mattress Firm understands that you may not be happy with your mattress at all and that you simply want to return it. If this is where you are standing, you need to know that according to the Mattress Firm return policy, you will need to pay a returning fee of the same amount ($79.99 or $99.99 in some special markets), but you will also need to pat a restocking fee. This last fee is equal to 10% of the purchase price of your original mattress and it can’t exceed $250. Please notice that if you live in Hawaii, you won’t need to pay the restocking fee.

According to the Mattress Firm return policy, there are also some exceptions to these fees. If you bought a Purple or a tulo mattress, you won’t need to pay either the redelivery or the restocking fee.

To ensure that Mattress Firm accepts both the exchange and the return of the mattress, it needs to be good as new, cleaned, not stained, and not damaged. So, what the company advises is for you to use a waterproof mattress protector during the 120 nights trial period. In addition, make sure that you don’t remove the law tag from either the foundation or the mattress or you will be terminating with the 120 nights trial period.
